There are six series in Ashtanga Yoga starting with the Primary Series The Ashtanga Yoga Primary Series, also known as Yoga Chikitsa, is a set of 75 asanas (postures) designed to detoxify and align the body.
Sun Salutations: 5-10 rounds to warm up the body.
Standing Postures: 10-15 asanas to establish balance and alignment.
Seated Postures : 20-25 asanas to focus on flexibility and strength.
Finishing Postures: 5-10 asanas to relax and calm the mind.

Key Components of Ashtanga Yoga

Vinyasa: Synchronizing breath with movement, flowing seamlessly between postures.
Bandhas: Energy locks that enhance strength, heat, and control.
Dhristis: Focused gaze points that support concentration and inner awareness.

Classes for All Levels

Drills on Tuesday: Focused on alignment, technique to target specific areas, perfect for building accessibility and improving the postures.
LED Class on Thursday: Teacher-led sessions where the instructor guides the flow with traditional counts.
Mysore Style Practice on Saturday: Practice under guided supervision, allowing you to progress at your own pace.
